In 2015, Levitt Pavilions named Lafayette as one of 10 small to mid-sized cities across America to win a Levitt AMP “Your City” Award of $25K in matching funds to present a free concert series at The Park at the Horse Farm. Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority presented the concert series. LPTFA partnered with Lafayette Central Park, Lafayette Consolidated Government and Cynthia Simien to produce the concert series. 10 free concerts over 10 consecutive weeks were be held in the Summer of 2015 at The Park at the Horse Farm. The concerts featured a diverse line up of national, regional and local artists ranging from Chris Thomas King to Marcia Ball.
