Uptown Lofts is a high-density, mixed-demographic housing development planned as an extension of Downtown Lafayette to support walkability, community interaction, and sustained economic growth.

Our vision is to offer safe and affordable housing that is part of a vibrant and diverse community enriching the lives of its residents through:  unique architectural design; convenient on-site amenities; pedestrian-friendly walkways; and green common areas, while helping to support its residents and the downtown Lafayette community.

Uptown Lofts will offer 73 – 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, along with a Community Center, and various retail outlets. There is ample open space, including brick pavered plaza areas with a water feature.  It has been designed and is being built for Enterprise Green Communities certification, as well as the United States Green Building Council’s LEED Neighborhood Development certification.

The Uptown Lofts apartment complex will be a multi-use residential and commercial development featuring modern, loft-style apartments as well as ground-floor retail/commercial space. Plans call for a six-building, $18 million development located on the edge of the Mills Addition neighborhood near downtown Lafayette. The vision of Uptown Lofts is to offer affordable housing that is part of a vibrant and diverse community, and will feature unique architectural design, on-site amenities, green common areas and pedestrian-friendly walkways.
